I am a self taught Landscape, and Travel photographer born in Oxfordshire and now living in Minehead, Somerset Uk. I'm passionate about landscape photography, and equally street photography. I have never wanted to pigeon hole myself into one particular genre of photography, Simply because  I enjoy all of it's forms. Photography started for me as a way of de-stressing from my former job as a Chef. Long hours and the pressures of the kitchen would often take it's toll. Getting out in the landscape, or on the street with my camera became the perfect way for me to leave it all behind. If only for a few hours.   Along with a stressful job, I also found myself suffering with anxiety problems and I was becoming more and more socially awkward. Photography was my way of being able to express myself, and as a form of release. My work is heavily influenced by art as well as music, and i will almost always have some form of music playing in my ears whilst out making images, as well as in my office whilst post processing. Long exposure photography is probably my favourite genre, as I love the process of leaving the camera shutter open for long periods of time  allowing the scene to take on an almost surreal quality. Allowing me time to really fully appreciate my surroundings, and allowing my mind to drift. I really Don't take much heed as to what camera people use, but for anyone who's interested I use and love the Fuji X System. I believe the Fuji cameras have opened up a whole new world of creativity for me and can't see me changing anytime soon.
